Feedback of students who participated in previous editions of our (Virtual) Summer School:

Here is a video made by one of the students after the first (online) edition of our summer school.

  • "I've learned a lot this week! It was a new experience with a diversity of students and lectures!" (2022)

  • "It was a very interesting and insightful week!" (2022)

  • "The summer school was a great experience" I got the chance to meet people from four different countries while I educated myself by listening to people from the work field. The combination of those two elements is really valuable because it works really inspiring!" (2022)

  • "I really liked the programme  because it was hosted by another school every day and that was really refreshing! I definitely recommend following this  programme because you see things from a very different perspective, which makes it really inspiring!" (2022)

  • "It was a week during which I learned a lot. I met a lot of new, interesting people. I really want to stay in touch with them. It was sometimes difficult, but it is a summer school and you need to challenge yourself. I’m glad I was part of this week."  (2021)

  • "The slogan of the Virtual Summer School was 'Business in Europe: United in Diversity' and this slogan could not be closer to reality as this week there were students, teachers and speakers present from Belgium, The Netherlands, France and Germany and even from all over the world. "I found it a very interesting and educational week. Even though I did not expect it, it has further motivated me to become an entrepreneur later on and reach my personal goals."  (2021)

  • "I am very happy that I have had the opportunity to take part in the virtual summer school. I was faced with new ideas, people and information. Every day was different and brought something else to the table. I think the word “diversity” was very much in place. Not only because we were all from four different regions and even more different countries. But especially because of the variety of the content of the summer school. It’s the first time I took part in an academic seminar and it surely won’t be the last."  (2021)

  • "It was an interesting, instructive, inspiring week. My LinkedIn profile has gained a lot of new connections. I have gained a lot of new information and inspiration. I also got to know a few people better. I was a very nice initiative and I would certainly be open to following this summer school non-virtually as well. Congratulations to the initiators and all guest speaker. Inspiring, connecting, enriching and very nice people to work with."  (2021)

  • "lthough it was a virtual summer school, I really felt connected. I met so many international students and experts but it didn’t feel like school, it was amazing.”  (2021)

  • “It was an instructive week where I learned new things. The different cultures made it also very interesting!” (2021)

  • “It was a great experience with a variety of European related content.” (2021)

  • “Great experience, would recommend 10/10.” (2021)

  • “I can definitely recommend this to every student interested in international business. You get to meet lovely people and hear about their interesting experiences. It is also a great opportunity to connect with people in the work field who are very happy to stay connected with you in case they can help you. You are not required to do any preparations (or very minimal), so after saying goodbye at 5pm, you have the rest of your night to think about what you learned that day and to have fun with friends or watch Netflix, so no homework during your summer break :)." (2021)

  • “The summer school "United in Diversity" was a great opportunity to meet new people, to create a wider network of contacts, to learn more about oneself and to get to know the four countries and their relationships in greater detail. Truly beneficial and a lot of fun!" (2021)

  • “This was a life-changing programme for me personally. Learned from amazing experts and entrepreneurs, I got more insights into Business in Europe. Lastly, the Virtual Summer School clearly showed the united in diversity aspect. Amazing experience!" (2021)

  • “I really enjoyed the program. Now I am motivated to start my own business and also it helped me to make some important decisions about my career and also personal thoughts. It was a lot of fun to meet other students and to have friends in four different countries."(2021)

  • “The virtual summer school was a great way to look into the many different ways you can work in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion, whether as a start-up founder, a full-blown entrepreneur, as an employee in an international company or by helping the EU in the further integration of the different countries. We were able to meet and connect with a diverse team of speakers who all gave their unique perspectives. We also learned about the difficulties of working internationally (both cultural and legal barriers), and how to overcome these problems with grace.”  (2021)
